Dr. Holger Achtermann is a lawyer and partner at BDO Legal. He is a member of the Corporate/M&A practice group.

He primarily advises on commercial and corporate law, IT law and banking law.

Holger Achtermann studied law in Osnabrück. He completed his doctorate in Oldenburg on the subject of "Safeguarding trade and business secrets of credit agencies with data protection supervisory authorities". He previously trained as a bank clerk and studied business administration.

Before joining BDO Legal, he worked as an in-house lawyer for a medium-sized cooperative bank and as a lawyer for a medium-sized law firm. 

In his free time, he likes to spend time with his family and, if there is any time left, he enjoys playing soccer, golf or fishing.
