Dr. Michael Brauer is a tax advisor and partner at BDO Legal. He is a member of the Practice Group Transformation Tax Law.

His practice focuses on tax advice for corporate transactions (due diligence, national and international tax planning for domestic and foreign companies including cross-border mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and carve-out projects). 

Michael Brauer studied business administration at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt. He completed his doctorate in Eichstätt-Ingolstadt on the subject of "The GmbH in crisis - legal form considerations from the perspective of tax and legal advice". 

When he is not working for his clients, he can be found with his family or at the gym.
